What is Neuro Therapy?

Neurological physical therapy is a form of therapy that is focused on working with people who have a diagnosed neurological disorder or disease.

Neurological conditions that physical therapy helps include ALS, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Parkinson’s (PD), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), stroke, traumatic brain injury (mTBI), or spinal cord injuries (SCI).

Other impairments we treat include vertigo, balance deficits, vision impairments, ambulation, activities of daily living, speech, diabetic neuropathy, Bell's Palsy, or loss of functional independence.

Don't forget, not everyone needs rehab.

Neuro Prevention

We have neuro and spinal specialists that work with us here at MedaPeutics.

Although a previous neurological diagnosis may not necessarily be preventable, we can possibly prevent or prolong progression in some cases.

Local and distal neurological recruitment patterns, complex movement patterns, visual concerns, and fine motor skills can be trained/retrained to slow disease progression or prevent certain losses in some individuals.
